| 15 Jan 2007 | I want to find out if anyone has the tape to go with the book Sag Mal which was published by Longman in 1986. It is still useful today for people like me who teach both children and adults beginners. I am also always looking for good collections of German songs. Lessing-Gymnasium in Lampertheim sucht Partnerschule für Schüleraustausch Das Lessing-Gymnasium in Lampertheim am Rhein (circa 31.000 Einwohner) ist im südlichen Zipfel Hessens gelegen, im Dreiländereck von Baden-Württemberg, Hessen und Rheinland-Pfalz. Es sind 15 km nach Mannheim, 35 km nach Heidelberg, 10km nach Worms und 60 km nach Frankfurt am Main. Lampertheim liegt am Rhein und hat . Beim Lessing-Gymnasium handelt es sich um ein so genanntes grundständiges Gymnasium, es umfasst also die Jahrgangsstufen 5 bis 13. Die einzelnen Jahrgangsstufen werden vier- oder fünfzügig gefahren. Insgesamt besuchen 1110 Schülerinnen und Schüler (539 Mädchen und 571 Jungen) das Lessing-Gymnasium, die von 84 Lehrkräften unterrichtet werden. Alle Schülerinnen und Schüler haben während der gesamten Gymnasialzeit Englischunterricht. Folgende Schwerpunkte sind zusätzlich zum Regelunterricht gebildet worden : Musik, Förderung besonders begabter Jugendlicher, Kompensationsunterricht, neue Medien, Sport und internationale Beziehungen. Meine Unterrichtsfächer sind Englisch, Geographie und Latein. Am Lessing-Gymnasium bin ich als Koordinator des Schüleraustausches mit der anglophonen Welt in Europa und Übersee tätig. Praktikumsplatz

Mein Name ist Annett Busch, ich bin 23 Jahre alt und
studiere z.Z. an der Universität Erfurt Grundschulpädagogik. Voraussichtlich werde ich im Oktober 2006 für 7 Monate nach Neuseeland gehen. Diese Zeit möchte ich nutzen, um ein Praktikum an einer Grundschule zu absolvieren. Jedoch finde ich nur schlecht Webseiten von Grundschulen, die einen Deutschuntericht anbieten. Ich bin sehr daran interessiert, wie Kinder mit einer anderen Muttersprache die deutsche Sprache erlernen. Diese Erfahrung wäre für meinen späteren Beruf sehr hilfreich! At the GANZ AGM at the NZALT Conference on 3 July in Auckland, it was passed to close the forums on the GANZ website www.ganz.ac.nz because of the huge amount of spam that was being uploaded. The website was in an older format that could not block spam. However, as the forums to share teaching materials are a huge help for teachers, there was concern about how this valuable asset could continue. When Werner Nowitzki later demonstrated his new website German for Kiwis - Deutschunterricht in Neuseeland www.german.ac.nz, his website seemed to be the answer to the problem, as it makes sense to have everything for German teachers in New Zealand under the one website address. Werner not only agreed with this, but he also very kindly offered to be the person to whom the worksheets and teaching materials would be sent, to upload onto the website. Since July, it has taken some time to make the changes. The site you are currently visiting (www.german.ac.nz/ganz.htm) is the new GANZ bulletin board, or new general forum discussion site. From here you can click on GANZ Worksheet Forum or GANZ NCEA Forum. in order to access the archives as well as newly uploaded files. You can email new files, worksheets or comments directly from the GANZ WORKSHEET FORUM, the GANZ NCEA FORUM or the GANZ BULLETIN BOARD to the webmaster by clicking on "My Contribution". Every new incoming file, worksheet or comment will become available online on either the GANZ WORKSHEET FORUM, the GANZ NCEA FORUM or the GANZ BULLETIN BOARD - unless it is spam. Any new additions will be held in the same format on the new site. Emails sent to the email address ganz@german.ac.nz are automatically being forwarded to Jan Robertson, president of GANZ, with a copy currently going to me. Werner’s aim over the next few months is to transfer the worksheets to the present site and to file them a) under the appropriate Achievement Objectives for easy reference and b) in chronological order. As Präsidentin, I would like to thank Werner for being so willing to carry out this huge task and for, as usual, making life easier for busy German teachers. Danke, Werner, für alle deine Bemühungen.
